Reports To: Managing Director

Role Summary: The Business Development Lead is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and managing the proposal process through to successful completion. The role involves actively generating leads, building relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning the firm’s consulting services effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and referrals.
  • Proactively contact potential clients through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to establish rapport and introduce the firm’s consulting services.
  • Clearly communicate the firm’s value proposition and tailor presentations to meet client needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, collaborating closely with internal teams to create tailored and compelling proposals.
  • Coordinate follow-up communications and actively manage the client pipeline to ensure opportunities are effectively nurtured.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of client interactions, sales activities, and proposals within CRM systems.
  • Travel as required to attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5+ of experience in business development preferably in consulting services.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with business and consulting services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
